NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalentExperience of leading and motivating teamsKnowledge of EYFS CurriculumBasic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)Minimum 1-year experience in a similar roleResponsibilities

To support the Nursery Manager in creating and maintaining a culture of self-evaluation and reflective practice throughout the nurseryTo deploy staff effectively to ensure the required standards are maintainedTo ensure all staff understand and comply with all nursery policy and proceduresTo lead the team and support in EYFS planning and ensure children s development records are maintainedTo carry our regular staff supervisions and coordinate staff meetingsTo support the Nursery Manager with recruiting, inducting, supporting, training and appraising all staff to deliver high quality childcare practiceTo promote diversity and equal opportunityTo work in partnership with parents forming caring and trusting relationshipsTo ensure professionalism and confidentiality at all timesTo support the Nursery Manager in making sure all complaints/concerns are actively resolved in a timely mannerBenefits
