Deputy Manager- Residential Children''s Home

I am recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to join a residential children''s home in Southend. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced care professional who is passionate about supporting young people and committed to delivering high-quality care. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the home operates effectively, safely and in line with Ofsted and regulatory requirements. Support the Registered Manager with the overall management and day-to-day running of the home. Promote the safety, welfare, development and wellbeing of the young people. Lead, motivate and support the staff team to deliver high-quality care. Assist with recruitment, safer recruitment checks, inductions and onboarding. Support staff development through training, supervision, appraisals and performance management. Monitor care standards and identify areas for improvement. Assist with audits, quality assurance and compliance checks. Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations, legislation and relevant policies. Support safeguarding, incident, complaint and investigation processes. Assist with preparing for inspections and implementing any required actions. Help ensure appropriate staffing levels and resources are maintained. Support admissions, transitions and care planning for young people.
