Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Waltham Forest Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Deputy Manager Residential Care Home this role will be: Mapleton Road, London, Greater London, E4 6XL The right candidate will: To support the manager on day to day operations and development of the service in line with CQC standards To assist the manager of the home in the management and administration of all personnel and material resources of the residential home. Managing a staff team to ensure the provision of support to service users. Implementing and leading best practise for the service user group with complex needs, including those living with dementia. Managing the team to ensure that they are delivering high quality residential care. Managing and running the home according to CQC guidelines The service provided meets all operational requirements, within organisational constraints. Ensure staff provide timely practical and personal care to service users. Ensure support provided is based on support plans, risk assessments and on current best practise. Carrying out investigations and completing investigation reports as required.
