We are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a well-established domiciliary care branch in Sunderland, currently delivering just under 1,000 care hours per week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong care professional to play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, supporting the Registered Manager while helping to drive quality, compliance and continued growth.

• Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service
• Help maintain high standards of quality and compliance with CQC regulations
• Lead, support and develop the care and office teams
• Oversee care planning, assessments, reviews and risk management
• Support with safeguarding concerns, incidents and investigations
• Assist with recruitment, training, supervision and performance management
• Monitor quality through audits, spot checks and service reviews
• Build strong relationships with clients, families and healthcare professionals
• Support the continued growth and development of the branch
• Take responsibility for the service in the Registered Manager''s absence
• Promote a positive culture focused on teamwork, quality and person-centred care

• Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Care Manager, Team Manager or Senior within domiciliary/home care
• Good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
• Experience leading and supporting care teams
• Strong knowledge of care planning, safeguarding and quality assurance
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and hands-on approach to management
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care would be desirable, although not essential
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

• -30,000 - -35,000 basic salary
