Deputy Manager

In this role you will support the Registered Manager to take responsibility for all areas of care, safeguarding and well-being. Motivating and inspiring your team to provide the highest quality of person-centred care in all that they do. You will need to respond to the needs of each individual, acting in their best interests, developing care plans and taking the time to get to know residents needs and preferences well so that high standards of care can be delivered. You should ensure you and the team understand that the care home is the resident''s home, so at all times staff need to be mindful of this and prioritize the residents and their loved ones needs.Your role will see you work directly with the residents attending to their care needs, as well as deputising for the manager in their absence and taking on responsibility for tasks assigned to you.You and your team will need to participate in regular training and behave in a professional and friendly manner towards other staff and visitors, embodying the companies'' values and standards in all you do.Duties:Ensure service users are at the heart of the care delivery meeting their wishes, preferences and enhancing their wellbeing.Ensure that all Staff Members contribute, to the best of their ability, to the efficient running of the Home and the creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of the Residents.Report any ill health amongst Clients and make requests for GP / Professional visits where necessary.Ensure ..... full job details .....
