Description Our local government clients in Enfield, Greater London, are recruiting a Deputy Manager - Older People''s Care Home. Assisting the manager in the day-to-day management and administration of the service in accordance with policies and procedures. To provide effective management and clear leadership to the staff team, ensuring that high standards of professional practice are created, promoted, and maintained, and provide valued lifestyle opportunities for tenants. Responsibility Leadership and Support - Assist the Registered Manager in overseeing daily operations. - Act as the manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership. - Provide visible, hands-on leadership during shifts. Quality and Compliance - Ensure care delivery meets Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and legislative requirements. - Monitor and update care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures. - Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualification Essential GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics. Relevant qualification, or demonstrable experience eina similar role Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), social media and accounting software.
