Deputy Manager - Children''s Residential HomeLocation: Wellington, SuttonSalary: 40,000 per annumStart Date: March 2026Positions Available: 2 x Deputy ManagersWe are recruiting two Deputy Managers for a brand-new, fully refurbished children''s residential home based in Sutton. The home will support 2-3 young people aged 10-16 with a range of needs including EBD, Learning Disabilities, Complex Needs, and ADHD.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the development of a new service, working closely with the Registered Manager to establish high-quality care, strong routines, and a positive culture from the outset.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and day-to-day running of the children''s homeWork as part of a small, dedicated team to deliver high-quality careSupport and supervise staff, addressing performance or staffing issues where appropriateAct as a positive role model and effective leader within the homeStep into the Manager role when requiredJob SummaryProvide consistent, child-centred support to enable young people to participate in community and personal activitiesEnsure all administrative duties and paperwork meet required standards and regulatory expectationsKey DutiesMaintain a strong understanding of relevant legislation and standards for children''s residential careLiaise regularly with the Manager and external professionals/agenciesAct as a key/primary worker for allocated young peopleEnsure daily tasks, routines, and care plans are completed to a ..... full job details .....
