My client based in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking dedicated and motivated Deputy Manager to join their Children''s Home and you will have a background of working within a Childrens Home.(PLEASE NOTE WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS POSITION)If you are passionate about making a true difference in the lives of children and young people, this rewarding role offers a diverse daily experience and the opportunity to lead a skilled team committed to providing high-quality care.The client is a specialist and make pride themselves in operating a number of homes across the area most of which rated as Outstanding by OFSTED. As the homes Deputy Manager in Stoke-on-Trent you will be a leader in your position and a mentor to staff and children alike.Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the safety and well-being of young people in care.- Encourage and motivate young people to participate in activities and education.- Lead and support staff teams in a residential childcare setting in the social care industry- Manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.Essential Requirements:- Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare.- Full UK driving license- Willingness to sleep in on a 2 on, 4 off rota.- Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young Person''s Workforce or equivalent.- Experience with OFSTED Inspections.- Knowledge of current legislation in the sector.- Flexibility for shift work, including weekends and sleep-ins.- Ability to deliver therapeutic care.Desirable Attributes:- 3 ..... full job details .....
