Deputy Manager Children s Residential Home Derby £43,000 Full-time, Permanent No sponsorship available Are you already working in children s residential care and ready to take the next step in your management career? We are recruiting an experienced Deputy Manager to work alongside the Registered Manager of a children s residential home in Derby. This is a genuine leadership role where you will be involved in the day-to-day running of the home, supporting and developing the staff team and helping to maintain strong standards across safeguarding, care, compliance and Ofsted readiness. You will still remain connected to the children and young people you support, while taking greater responsibility for the quality and consistency of the service. What you ll be doing Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day management of the home Leading, supervising and developing the staff team Helping the home achieve and maintain a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and child-centred care Reviewing care plans, risk assessments and placement documentation Monitoring staff practice, performance and staffing levels Completing audits and identifying areas for improvement Supporting staff through incidents and challenging situations Working closely with social workers, families and other professionals Ensuring practice meets the Children s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards Taking responsibility and providing ..... full job details .....
