Deputy Manager Children''s Residential Home Location: Sheffield Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year (depending on experience) Are you an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager looking for your next career move? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established children''s residential care provider for a Deputy Manager to join a supportive team in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality care and supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home. The Role As Deputy Manager, you will: Support the Registered Manager with the overall management of the home. Lead, motivate and develop the staff team. Ensure the home delivers outstanding care and achieves positive outcomes for children and young people. Promote safeguarding, therapeutic care and person-centred support. Assist with audits, compliance, supervisions and staff development. Build positive relationships with external professionals, families and stakeholders. Shift Pattern The Deputy Manager role may vary depending on the home''s requirements. It is expected to include: Two consecutive care shifts per week. 8 hours of dedicated administration time each week. Requirements Previous experience within a children''s residential home. Experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential).
