Deputy Manager - Children''s Residential CareLocation: Milton KeynesSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 per yearHours: 40 hours per weekAbout the RoleOur client is seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day leadership and management of a children''s residential home in Milton Keynes.The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring children and young people receive safe, nurturing and high-quality residential childcare, particularly those with emotional, behavioural and complex needs.They will support the Registered Manager with safeguarding, staff management, regulatory compliance and quality assurance, helping create a positive environment where children and young people can thrive and achieve positive outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Registered Manager with the effective day-to-day running of the children''s home.Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence.Lead, motivate, supervise and develop the residential care team.Lead shifts and oversee staffing levels and rotas.Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.Ensure high-quality, child-centred care is provided in line with individual care plans.Support care planning, risk assessments and behaviour support plans.Promote positive behaviour and support young people with challenging or complex needs.Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation.Ensure safeguarding procedures, policies and regulatory requirements are ..... full job details .....
