A2B Social Care have a superb opportunity for a Deputy Manager to provide care and support to children in a 3 bed Therapeutic EBD children''s home based in Nuneaton.

The home has 1 child in place and will remain that way for next 6 months and has also had a recent inspection, where a GOOD was achieved in all areas.
Responsibilities: The general leadership and management of a team of staff, young people and the day to day management of the home.
Setting an example to all other staff in high standards of dress code, professional courtesy and manners, communication, report writing, dealing with issues and conflict resolution.
Preparing the agenda for meetings and for chairing and taking minutes.
Training new staff in care staff procedures and routines.
Ensuring that all members of staff are fully aware of policies, procedures and routines concerning the communication of personal and sensitive information.
Ensure all staff work within the homes Policies and Procedures in place at the home.
Have excellent knowledge and understanding of Children''s core documents and the ability to monitor and update these as and when necessary Partake in the interview process when requested Collate, monitor and maintain staff personnel files and documentation, including staff training and probation.
Ability to direct and lead staff supporting the young people with their day to day routines and daily living in line with their Care Plan.
Young People Identifying and assessing each young persons risks and needs.
Oversight of the writing the young persons Placement Plan.
Attending internal and external review meetings, when required, as his/her representative.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with each young person to ensure that their needs are met.
Ensuring that social and recreational activities for each young person are assessed for risk and are well planned, organised and adequately supervised.
Ensuring that staff are involved in the activities.
Conduct regular supervisions with the staff to support their performance and development.
Salary: £35,000- £40,000 plus occasional sleep in paid at £45, this is working full time 37.5 hours per week Monday- Friday 9am -5pm plus career progression opportunities and an extensive benefits ..... full job details .....
