Overview

Deputy Lead Pharmacy Technician Dispensary Services – Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LUHFT), Aintree site. The post supports and deputises for the Lead Pharmacy Technician – Dispensary Services in developing and evaluating the Dispensary services in line with the vision for excellence in healthcare.Responsibilities

Manage and develop the team of Technical and support staff in the dispensary and other pharmacy staff who provide the service to internal/external customers in accordance with all national and regional guidelines.Lead and supervise the day-to-day running of the dispensary, including rotas and staff training, in a busy, fast-paced environment.Demonstrate effective leadership skills, contribute to outstanding pharmacy services, and liaise with other health care professionals in a hospital setting.Support service development and evaluation of Dispensary services in line with organisational objectives.Qualifications / Requirements

Experience as a pharmacy technician with leadership or supervisory responsibilities.Excellent customer and communication skills; strong team player; able to adapt to change.Motivated, positive, and capable of organising and leading a dispensary team.About LUHFT
