Deputy Housing Options Manager

Marks Consulting Partners are currently recruiting for a Deputy Housing Options Manager (Team Leader) to work with one of our local authority clients in Sussex.This is a 3 month temporary contract, working two days per week in the office on duty, with the rate dependent on experience.What you will be doing:Providing day-to-day leadership and support to two Prevention Outreach Officers (subject to change), including line management responsibilitiesActing as Duty Manager within the offices two days per weekLeading on a range of critical partnerships and multi-agency initiatives, including MARAC, MAPPA, Rough Sleeping and Housing FirstEnsuring effective joint working across statutory and voluntary sector agencies to support some of the most vulnerable residentsWhat you will need:Substantial experience in homelessness and housing options servicesStrong understanding of Housing Act 1996 Part VII and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017Experience of partnership working with statutory and voluntary sector agenciesExcellent decision making and case management skillsAbility to lead, motivate and develop staff in a fast paced, frontline environmentExperience of Home Connections is preferableEnhanced DBS check and references requiredIf this job is not quite right for you but you are looking for something new, please contact us for a confidential discussion.Marks Consulting Partners specialise in the recruitment of professionals across Property Services, Housing Services, General ..... full job details .....
