About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the smooth running of our clients care home, providing leadership and ensuring outstanding care for their residents. This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on nursing and management responsibilities, ideal for someone eager to lead a motivated team and enhance the lives of those they support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
- Lead, inspire, and support staff to deliver compassionate, person-centred care.
- Assist with medication administration following strict protocols.
- Manage and develop dementia care initiatives tailored to resident needs.
- Collaborate closely with the Manager to maintain a safe, welcoming, and positive environment.
- Support the creation and implementation of individualised care plans.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
What We''re Looking For:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
- Proven leadership experience with strong team supervision and motivational skills.
- Solid understanding of medication administration and care protocols.
- Knowledge and experience in dementia care best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage with residents, families, and staff effectively.
- NVQ qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
