I am currently partnering with a client to find an ambitious, resilient, and career-driven Assistant Home Manager for their established service in Ammanford. This is a "Pathway Role"-my client isn''t just looking for a Deputy; they are looking for their next Registered Manager. Why this role stands out: Unlike many Deputy roles that can feel like "more of the same," this position is designed for growth. You will work directly alongside the Registered Manager to master the operational, regulatory, and leadership side of running a high-quality home, with the full expectation that you will transition into a Registered Manager role upon completion of your Level 5. The Day-to-Day: Reporting to the Registered Manager, you will be a visible leader within the home: Lead and Mentor: Managing the senior and care team, overseeing rotas, and providing high-quality supervision and coaching. Clinical and Care Excellence: Overseeing care plans for young people (ages 8-17) with complex needs, including trauma-related behaviours and sensory disabilities.
