Key Duties - Deputy Headteacher - Chiswick

  • Work alongside the Headteacher to lead the secondary provision in Chiswick.

  • Monitor and develop the quality of teaching and learning across the school.

  • Manage and develop teaching staff and middle leaders.

  • Contribute to whole-school improvement planning and implementation.

  • Ensure that safeguarding and student welfare remain a priority.

  • Build strong relationships with families, external agencies and professionals.

  • Oversee curriculum development and assessment across the secondary department.

  • Promote high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.



Requirements - Deputy Headteacher - Chiswick

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Previous experience in a senior leadership position, such as Assistant Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.

  • Experience working within an SEN setting.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding, curriculum development and school improvement.

  • The ability to manage and motivate staff effectively.
