Urgent: Fixed Term Contract starting ASAP til 14th September 2025Full Time HoursOne of the first purpose-built hotels in Europe, Queens Hotel was built on the site of the original Sherborne Spa, and became used as suitable accommodation for the nobility and royalty who visited Cheltenham to restore, renew and revive.Our teams combined experience enables us to provide the very best customer service in a luxury setting where guests can soak up our history and take time out to explore the quaint villages and abundant countryside of the Cotswolds.Our OpportunityAs Deputy Head Housekeeper, you will support the Head Housekeeper in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy housekeeping department. Youll help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest service across the hotel.Key Responsibilities:Assist in managing the housekeeping team, ensuring all rooms and public areas are cleaned to a high standard

Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Support rotas, stock control, and ordering of supplies

Step up in the absence of the Head Housekeeper

Train and motivate housekeeping staff

What Were Looking For:Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or management role

A hands-on, detail-oriented approach

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Flexible and willing to work shifts, including weekend
