Deputy Director of Finance and Procurement (Management Accounting and Business Partnering)

on a 6-month contract. This senior role is based in the south of England with hybrid working available.You will lead a team of finance business partners, providing trusted financial insight to support budget holders, shape decision-making, and deliver the University''s long-term strategy. The role will also deputise for the Director of Finance and Procurement when required.Experience Required:* Proven track record at senior level in a large and complex organisation, ideally in Higher Education or a comparable sector.* Strong leadership experience managing large teams, multiple projects and tight deadlines.* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to deliver imaginative and practical solutions.* High-level technical accounting expertise, with strong IT and advanced spreadsheet skills.* Ability to produce high-quality reports and present complex financial issues clearly to senior colleagues and non-finance stakeholders.* Demonstrable experience in driving improvements to financial processes and delivering tangible benefits.* Understanding of financial issues facing the Higher Education sector.If you are interested, please apply ..... full job details .....
