Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead 35 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (term time + 3 weeks)Grade 5 (£42,839 - £51,356)(Actual pro rata salary £38,778 to £46,487) Are you an experienced Safeguarding practitioner passionate about championing child protection? We are looking for an ambitious and committed Deputy DSL to support on all safeguarding and child protection work in the Academy. The Team You will work closely with the Deputy Head with strategic responsibility for safeguarding and SLT to ensure Broadway Academy''s safeguarding responsibilities are fully met and proactively managed. As part of the pastoral team, you will co-ordinate, advise and support year teams and academy staff to deliver safeguarding responsibilities to the highest standards. The Role You will be responsible for the operational leadership of whole school safeguarding and child protection across the Academy (including online safety, understanding the filtering, and monitoring systems in place). You will ensure the Academy is statutorily compliant and maintains a strong culture of safeguarding.
