Deputy Care Manager

We are seeking a strong Residential Care Home Deputy Manager / Head of Care who is seeking a new exciting challenge within healthcare. The ideal candidate will have previous managerial and team leading experience in an elderly care home environment with good leadership skills and a strong personality. Residential Care Home Deputy Manager: Ref No. PK70723 16.22 per hour 37 hours per week 2 office based managerial days (9-5) and 2 longer days supervising the floor A passionate and dedicated individual is required to help run a comfortable Residential Care Home in the Newport area as their new Deputy Care Manager. The home caters for up to 25 elderly residents and they are a part of an independent care company which focuses on providing a high standard of person-centred care. This home offers an ideal environment for active, independent elderly people who enjoy being part of a community This is a full-time, permanent Deputy Care Manager position paying a very competitive starting salary of 16.62 per hour! This will be working 37 hours per week over 4 days, and will build upon existing team leading skills. Previous Deputy Care Manager or Team Leader experience is preferred. The successful candidate will need to be able to carry to supervisions of staff members, book in medication, carry out audits and work in partnership with the Registered Manager.
