Job Role - Deputy Care Manager Location - Uxbridge Salary - £35,000 - £36,000 DOE Job Type - Permanent About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced and compassionate Deputy Manager to join their leadership team at one of their care homes in Uxbridge supporting both their dementia and residential residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, hands-on care professional who is ready to take the next step into a senior leadership role, working closely with the Home Manager to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. You''ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the home leading by example on the floor, supporting and developing your care team, and ensuring every resident receives the highest standard of care, dignity and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Support the Home Manager in the overall leadership and operational management of the home, deputising in their absence. Lead, supervise and motivate care staff, ensuring rotas, staffing levels and skill mix meet residents'' needs at all times. Champion person-centred dementia care, ensuring care plans are regularly reviewed and tailored to individual residents. Support the recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development of care staff. Conduct supervisions, appraisals and performance management discussions with team members.
