Depot Manager Retail Devon 45k + bonusI am partnering again with a a leading UK distribution business who are looking to appoint an experienced Depot Manager to lead a key distribution operation in Devon.This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a small but fast-paced, high-volume depot, leading warehouse and transport operations while developing a high-performing team. You''ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service levels, driving operational performance, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.Working closely with the wider operations leadership team, you''ll have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the depot, ensuring safety, service and efficiency remain at the heart of everything you do.This role will develop into a more senior role as they are relocating operations to a brand new site in the next few months.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day operation of a busy warehouse and distribution site.Recruit, develop and manage a high-performing team of warehouse colleagues and drivers when the site movesDrive engagement through coaching, performance management and regular communication.Partner with HR on employee relations, reviews and disciplinary processes.Ensure operational procedures and company policies are consistently followed.Monitor warehouse and logistics performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.Work closely with commercial teams to resolve customer service issues and deliver exceptional ..... full job details .....
