Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee all daily depot operations, ensuring targets for safety, quality, efficiency, and customer service are consistently met. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the depot team, including drivers, warehouse staff, and administrative personnel. Conduct performance reviews and manage staffing levels. Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to all transport legislation, health and safety regulations, and company policies. Maintain the required standards for the Operator''s Licence (O Licence). Fleet Management: Manage the maintenance, service, and compliance of the vehicle fleet. Budget and Cost Control: Monitor and manage depot expenditure, seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction. Customer Service: Act as a key point of contact for local customers, resolving issues quickly and effectively to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
