What you''ll be doing

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the depot.
• Managing and supporting a team of drivers and operational staff.
• Coordinating workloads, schedules, and resources to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive working environment.
• Building strong relationships with customers and resolving any issues that arise.
• Monitoring operational performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Managing costs and helping the depot achieve its performance targets.
• Ensuring high standards of service, teamwork, and communication across the site.

What we''re looking for

• Previous experience in a Depot Manager, Transport Manager, or similar operational leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of transport legislation, Operator Licence compliance, and driver hours regulations.
• Proven leadership experience managing drivers and operational teams.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing budgets and achieving operational KPIs.
• CPC qualification desirable.
