The successful candidate will have an operational knowledge of transport while also having sound commercial skills in terms of driving operational profitability Key responsibilities: Deliver improving financial performance for the operation & finding opportunities to increase profitability Engage and work closely with key internal stakeholders to improve cohesion Improve an already strong customer centric approach with a focus on driver behaviours Take full independent compliance responsibility and proactively tackle any issues to ensure highest operational standards Ensures that all relevant legislative requirements are adhered to by all staff and standards are at the highest level possible Prepare annual budgets and report on monthly financial performance of the operation.
