Customer orders are going out, stock is moving between sites, collections are being organised and van drivers are heading out on deliveries.   There''s plenty happening between 6am and 6pm.   As Depot Manager, you''ll be the person keeping an eye on the whole operation, bringing people together and making sure there''s structure around how the depot runs. You''ll have supervisors and managers around you, so this isn''t about becoming the person everybody runs to.   It''s about making sure the right people are taking responsibility, knowing what''s happening across the site and stepping in when something needs your attention. You''ll be visible on the floor.   Not because you need to get involved in every job, but because you''ll want to know your team, understand what''s happening and spot where something could work better.
