Just Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established, family-run business in the search for an experienced Depot Manager.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for ensuring the depot operates safely, efficiently, and profitably. You will lead, motivate, and develop a team of approximately 35 staff, including Managers and Supervisors, while driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day depot operations to maximise productivity, reporting directly to the Operations/Commercial Director
* Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation and health & safety standards
* Lead and support key functions, including the MRF Supervisor, EQHS Manager, and Transport Manager
* Collaborate closely with Sales and Administration teams to ensure smooth business operations
* Manage budgets, control costs, and maintain an excellent safety record
* Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, customers, and regulatory bodies
The Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in a senior management role
* Strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills
* NEBOSH and COTC Level 4 (WAMITAB) qualifications desirable, or willingness to achieve within 6 months
* IT literate with excellent communication skills
