Depot Engineer

To carry out maintenance and repair tasks on depot equipment, ensuring its optimal functionality and contributing to overall operational efficiency.Role Overview:We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Depot Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Depot Engineer will play a key role in maintaining equipment, diagnosing and repairing faults, and supporting depot operations.Key Responsibilities:Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Conduct in-house fault diagnosis and repairs on a variety of equipment, including planned maintenance tasks.Inventory Management: Monitor, maintain, and review optimum parts stock levels, ensuring availability when needed.Data Management: Accurately record parts allocation and job details on the works mobile tablet in a timely manner.Support Across Depots: Provide backup support to other areas and depots when required, ensuring continuity of service.Workplace Standards: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to all safety standards and protocols.Policy Adherence: Comply with the companys Employee Handbook policies and health and safety procedures.Additional Duties: Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Depot Manager.Requirements:Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in equipment maintenance or depot operations.Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across ..... full job details .....
