Team Lead - Desktop Rollout Engineer - Belfast - £16.80 per hourRole Summary There are currently positions in Commercial Support Services for Desktop Rollout Engineers. Working as part a small team providing IT Support to a to a variety of customers in Northern Ireland. This role will report to a lead engineer and ensure desktop deployments are carried out in line with clearly defined build instructions and site requirements. Responsibilities Deploy desktop and laptop at various sites. This will include the decommissioning and install of new desktops and carrying out equipment audits. Follow clearly defined installation guidelines and end user familiarisation on new equipment. Apply defined Asset Management process and procedures. Ability to resolve ad-hoc installation issues or escalate to the team lead. Work as a small team or as part of a larger programme. Work closely with the Capita escalation points ensuring handover of issues and customer satisfaction is maintained during the rollout. Essential Criteria Some experience in computer hardware and various windows operating systems. Some experience in a customer facing role preferably gained on a customer site. Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team. Demonstrate the ability to follow processes and documentation. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
