Dementia Lead Nurse (RGN/RMN)

Location: Leeds Pay: 25.04 per hour Hours: Full Time (45 hours per week) Rotherwood Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Dementia Lead Nurse (RGN/RMN) on behalf of a well-established care provider in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering outstanding dementia care while leading and supporting a dedicated nursing and care team. You''ll play a key role in ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care within a specialist dementia unit, while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing. The Role As the Dementia Lead Nurse, you will oversee the day-to-day clinical management of the dementia unit, providing leadership to the care team while delivering hands-on nursing care. You will ensure care is delivered in line with best practice, CQC standards and the NMC Code of Conduct. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the day-to-day running of the dementia unit. Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans. Complete clinical risk assessments and ensure care plans remain up to date. Safely administer and manage medications. Monitor residents'' health and wellbeing, responding appropriately to changing needs. Maintain accurate electronic care records and documentation.
