Know more about us:https://corporate.jd.com/We are seeking a data driven Demand Planner to join our Procurement Team, based in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing demand forecasts, optimising inventory, and ensuring product availability for our customers. This is a unique opportunity to help shape supply planning strategies in a fast-growing and dynamic e-commerce environment.Key Responsibilities:Partner with category managers, suppliers, and vendors to manage demand forecasts, stock levels, budgets, and lead times across products.Develop and maintain SKU-level forecasting models and tools to drive accurate demand planning.Monitor and analyse sales trends, promotional activity, and seasonal factors to improve forecast accuracy.Support the Supply Chain team in implementing best practices for inventory management, leveraging new tools and processes.Track and report on KPIs including fulfillment rates, availability, stockholding, and inventory quality through standardised weekly reports.Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain, proposing proactive solutions to minimise stockouts and overstocks.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, ideally within the FMCG sector in the UK (fresh category experience preferred).Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, VBA, Python, or other analytical tools a plus.Proven ability to work with complex data sets and translate insights into actionable supply chain strategies.Track record of driving process improvements, implementing systems, or managing change initiatives.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.What We Offer:The exciting opportunity to shape category strategies and contribute to the growth of a new and dynamic e-commerce business.A diverse, inclusive work environment, where you can make a significant impact on JD.com\''s regional presence.A competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, pension, and performance bonuses.JD.com is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
