This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the movement of goods, equipment, and resources that support humane livestock handling, transport, housing, nutrition, and care. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of supply chain logistics and shares a commitment to ethical practices in animal agriculture. Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage supply chain plans for materials, equipment, feed, pharmaceuticals, and welfare-related products.Forecast demand and plan inventory to ensure timely availability of welfare-critical supplies at farms, shelters, or processing facilities.Collaborate with procurement, logistics, veterinary teams, and animal care specialists to align supply planning with animal welfare standards.Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and transportation schedules to minimize delays and disruptions.Identify risks in the supply chain that may impact livestock welfare and implement proactive solutions.Utilize supply chain software for planning, reporting, and inventory control.Analyze data to improve forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and cost-efficiency.Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for time-sensitive items (e.g., vaccines, feed, bedding, equipment).Ensure all supply chain activities ..... full job details .....
