Demand and Production Planner (FMCG Manufacturing)

The Demand and Production Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production schedules to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and on time. The role balances customer demand, capacity, materials, and labour to optimise production flow and inventory levels. Location: Iver, BuckinghamshireHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pmSalary: 45,000- 55,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Responsibilities and Duties:Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targetsCoordinate with Sales, Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing to align demand and supply plansPlan material requirements and work closely with Purchasing to ensure timely availability of raw materials and componentsMonitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, capacity constraints, or changes in demandAnalyse production capacity, labour availability, and equipment utilisation to improve efficiencyMaintain accurate data on stock levels (on-site and off-site)Identify risks to delivery schedules and proactively propose mitigation actionsSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to planning accuracy, lead times, and inventory optimisationPrepare and present planning reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to managementEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standardsLiaise with customers and suppliers to manage delivery dates and production plans Key Performance Indicators ..... full job details .....
