Delivery Manager/Project Manager

Day rate: -650 - -700 per day inside IR35

Location: Dover

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead a complex delivery within a challenging stakeholder environment. This is a pivotal role, reporting directly to the IT Director and Head of Transformation, where you will take full ownership of ensuring delivery milestones are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage delivery to plan, ensuring all milestones are achieved on time.
• Navigate and manage a complex stakeholder landscape effectively.
• Monitor and escalate progress with a key software supplier to ensure accountability.
• Work autonomously with minimal supervision while maintaining regular, concise updates to leadership.
• Perform basic requirements gathering and create/execute simple test plans.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven track record as a Delivery Manager / Project Manager in high-pressure, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Previous experience in a technical setting (e.g. software-related projects), even if not in a hands-on technical role.
• Confident using JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and adapt quickly.
