Delivery Manager

Astute''s Renewables team is supporting an exciting and growing organisation delivering major electricity infrastructure projects across the UK. We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to take ownership of the successful delivery of a major high-voltage grid infrastructure project in Sheffield, with responsibility spanning construction, contractor management, programme, commercial control, commissioning and handover. This is a hands-on delivery position rather than a purely administrative Project Management role. You will act as the key interface between multiple contractors, consultants, grid stakeholders and internal teams, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and within budget. The successful candidate will ideally have experience delivering projects at DNO or transmission level, with the ability to hit the ground running in a complex HV infrastructure environment. Key ResponsibilitiesTake overall delivery responsibility for a major HV infrastructure project from construction through to commissioning and handover.Provide hands-on site leadership and construction supervision.Coordinate multiple contractors and manage interfaces between civil, electrical and specialist packages.Manage project programmes, milestones, dependencies and critical path activities.Administer NEC3/NEC4 contracts, including early warnings, compensation events, variations, notices and payment processes.Work closely with transmission network stakeholders regarding outages, ..... full job details .....
