Delivery Driver

Role: Delivery Driver Location: Sudbury, Suffolk Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:30 - 17:00 Pay: 12.75 to 13.25 p/hour Contract: Temporary ongoing (potential for permanent contract)We are currently recruiting for a Delivery Driver to join a busy and well-established manufacturer in Sudbury. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a hands-on role within a supportive team, carrying out local and regional deliveries across East Anglia and surrounding areas.The majority of deliveries are within an hour of Sudbury, with the furthest deliveries reaching two hours away. You''ll be driving a 2.5 tonne curtain sider van and representing the business professionally when delivering products to customers.Delivery Driver Duties:Completing deliveries safely and efficiently across Suffolk and surrounding areasLoading and unloading products from the vehicleSecuring loads correctly within the curtain sider vanCarrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issuesAssisting within the warehouse when requiredProviding a professional and friendly service to customersEnsuring delivery paperwork is completed accuratelyWho are we looking for?Full UK Driving LicencePrevious delivery driving experience is desirableConfident driving a 2.5 tonne vanReliable and punctual with a good work ethicFLT licence desirable, although training can be provided for the right candidateGood communication and customer service skillsPhysically fit and comfortable with manual handling dutiesPositive attitude and ..... full job details .....
