Job Role: Weapons EngineerLocation: Bristol - Hybrid (2-3 days on-site) Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 Proactive are currently in search of multiple experienced Weapons Engineers to start work for a client in Bristol. This is a permanent position offering ample opportunities for progression and development. The ideal candidate will have come from a defence or service background looking to take the next step in their career.The Weapons Systems Engineer supports the design, integration, testing and through-life support of complex weapons or combat systems. Depending on the project, the role may cover electronic systems, sensors, communications interfaces, system performance or engineering verification.Key responsibilitiesReview system requirements and technical specifications.Support the integration of equipment and subsystems.Investigate technical faults and performance issues.Develop or review test procedures and engineering reports.Participate in trials, verification and validation activities.Maintain technical records and contribute to engineering assurance.Coordinate with software, electrical, mechanical and systems engineering teams.Experience and skills soughtUnderstanding of complex equipment and subsystem integration.Weapons engineering, electronic engineering or systems engineering experience.Experience in testing, maintenance, troubleshooting or technical assurance.Ability to interpret technical requirements and produce clear documentation.Security clearance where required ..... full job details .....
