Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor NQ - 5 Preston Hybrid Working A well-established and highly regarded defendant insurance team are seeking a skilled Solicitor to join their team in Preston. The role offers the chance to work within a supportive and collaborative environment, managing a diverse caseload of defendant insurance matters, predominantly EL/PL, while contributing to a successful and growing team. Responsibilities: Manage or assist with a varied caseload of EL/PL insurance litigation matters from instruction through to resolution, including claims involving injury, liability disputes, and contractual issues. Provide clear, practical legal advice both verbally and in writing. Handle client relationships and liaise with insurers, stakeholders and counsel. Undertake legal research, draft documents, and assess financial liability. Represent clients in court where appropriate. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider team. Support business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships. Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards, while meeting performance targets. About You: A Qualified Solicitor or CILEX, with NQ-5 years'' PQE. Strong experience in EL/PL claims. A solid understanding of the CPR and insurance litigation processes. Experience advising commercial clients and working with insurers. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
