Deep Sea Import Operator - 30-32K-

Our client-specialises in Import Ocean Freight from the USA, Canada the Far East and Indian Subcontinent markets. They-operate their-own branches in the USA and UK.

They are now looking to expand their Deep Sea Import Department by bringing in an experienced Import Operator.-

Duties would include:-

• Processing Import Operations from start to finish
• Booking containers with shipping lines
• Raising & Processing Shipping Documentation
• Import Customs Clearances
• Arranging collections
• General Import Administration-
• liaising with customers and carriers-
• Handling- both FCL & LCL shipments-
• Providing customers with quotations / rates-
• Completing all relevant documentation-

The ideal candidate, will have 2 years + experience within the industry and could hit the ground running in an import operations role. However, they would also consider someone with 12+ months experience who is a fast learner and keen to develop into an operators role.-
