Decorating Supervisor

EA Associates are working with an established Painting and Decorating contractor in Cambridge who are looking to appoint an experienced Painting Supervisor / Contracts Supervisor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with a strong background in Painting and Decorating who is looking to take the next step in their career, with a clear opportunity to progress into a Contracts Management position. The Role Working closely with the Contracts Management team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple painting and decorating projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key responsibilities will include: Supervising painting and decorating operatives across multiple sites. Coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors. Monitoring progress, quality and programme requirements. Liaising with clients, site management and other trades. Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained. Supporting Contracts Managers with the day-to-day delivery of projects. Attending site meetings and providing regular progress updates. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience within the Painting and Decorating industry is essential. Experience as a Painting Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Contracts Supervisor or similar. Strong understanding of painting and decorating processes and site operations. Good organisational and communication skills.
