Quality ControllerRotherham 36,000 per annum based on current 48-hour shift patternPermanentShillito Group are recruiting for their client for a Quality Controller to join an established manufacturing business in Rotherham.This is a hands-on quality role working within a busy decorating and production environment.You''ll be responsible for checking finished containers, carrying out quality inspections and making sure products meet the required standard before they move on.There is also a general operative element to the role, but this is mainly keeping the area clean and tidy, looking after machinery and helping keep the production environment running properly.Salary and Working Hours 36,000 per annum based on the current 48-hour working weekEquivalent to 14.42 per hourCurrent shift: Monday to Thursday, 6am to 6pmThere is a view for the shift pattern to move to Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pmIf the shift pattern changes, salary would reduce in line with the lower 37-hour working weekPermanent positionThe roleCarrying out quality checks on finished decorated containersCompleting AQL assessmentsCarrying out adhesion and durability testingChecking print quality against specificationCompleting visual inspectionsRecording test results and batch information accuratelyIdentifying and reporting quality issuesSupporting general warehouse and production activityKeeping the working area clean and tidyHelping ensure machinery is looked after properlySupporting with packing ..... full job details .....
