BPSS will be processed by the client, with SC clearance required for the subsequent AWE placement.Job Overview We are currently looking for Decommissioning Operatives to support a project at Harwell, with the opportunity to move onto a long-term project at AWE Aldermaston after the initial six months.You will support the decontamination and decommissioning of plant, equipment and facilities, helping ensure work is completed safely and in line with site procedures.Key Responsibilities Decontaminating plant, equipment and facilities. Dismantling and size-reducing plant and equipment. Carrying out plant checks, routine maintenance and general housekeeping. Controlling, minimising and processing radioactive waste in line with client requirements. Preparing work areas, materials and equipment. Operating process plant and materials-handling equipment to support site activities. Essential Requirements Valid CSCS card. Relevant NVQ, CPCS or NPORS qualification.
