About the Role
The Deburrer position in Coventry offers a permanent contract paying £14.70 to £16 per hour. This full-time role involves finishing precision-engineered components for aerospace and defence clients. Working HoursMonday to Thursday:
- Flexible start times available: 6:00am, 6:30am, 7:00am or 7:30am
- 9-hour shifts finishing between 3:00pm and 4:30pm

- Deburring and polishing CNC milled and CNC turned components to a high standard.
- Removing burrs from internal and external surfaces and edges.
- Carrying out tapping, part marking, polishing, filing and finishing operations.
- Performing final part marking using both machine and hand tools in line with engineering drawings.
- Using inspection equipment including verniers, shadowgraphs and other measuring tools.
- Maintaining exceptional quality standards and ensuring components meet customer specifications.
- Working closely with colleagues to support an efficient and productive manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience as a Deburrer within a precision engineering or machine shop environment.
- Ideally, experience within the aerospace, defence or a similar high-specification industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
- Experience using pillar drills, manual lathes, drilling fixtures and deburring hand tools.
- Confidence using a variety of measuring and inspection equipment.
- The ability to interpret engineering drawings and work accurately to specification.
