Debt Recovery Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Debt Recovery Manager to join a well-established national law firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional to lead debt recovery activities, improve collection performance and build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee debt recovery processes.
• Develop strategies to improve recovery rates and efficiency.
• Build and maintain client and industry relationships.
• Work with legal teams on debt-related matters.
• Monitor and report on recovery performance.
• Support business development and networking activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members.

Skills and Experience

• Proven debt management or recovery experience, ideally within the legal sector.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Good knowledge of debt recovery legislation and processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using debt management systems.
• A proactive, commercially aware and results-driven approach.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is desirable.
