      <description>Location: Alne | Salary: &amp;pound;27500 - &amp;pound;30000/annum | Type: Permanent | Debt Advice Caseworker (Ex-Offender Support) Based across Northallerton, Harrogate Probation and in-reach delivery at HMP Milsike Up to £30,000 per year Full-time, Permanent About the role  We are recruiting an experienced Debt Advice Caseworker to support people with complex financial situations, including problem debt, benefit issues and financial instability, within probation services, activity hubs and prison settings. This role is suited to candidates with a background in frontline debt advice or money guidance, for example those who have worked for Citizens Advice, charitable debt advice services, housing associations, local authority welfare teams or similar organisations. You will work with individuals who often have multiple debts, limited income and challenging personal circumstances. Your focus will be on reviewing financial situations in detail, developing realistic repayment plans, negotiating with creditors and helping people regain control of their finances.
