Dealership Accountant

NLB Solutions are working with a motor trade business that are looking for a Assistant Dealership Accountant or Dealership Accountant to join an experienced team to help support and work alongside an existing experienced team. The role will look t someone already doing the dealership accountant role or that feels that they are ready for the step up to the role. The candidates must already have extensive motor trade experience.With a great working environment and senior management team that see their role as supporting and developing new individuals through the corporate structure, this is a great opportunity to progress through the business.Duties: Daily VRN (Vehicle Release Number) - Each vehicle finance is checked and cleared by an accountant before release of the vehicleAssist department managers and staff members with accounts queries or support requiredAssist cashier/accounts assistant with any queries they may haveMonth End routine journals and reconciliations Balance sheet reconciliations Vehicle and Fixed Asset depreciations Accruals and Prepayments Vehicle profit reconciliations to then be reviewed with management teamVAT ReturnManufacturer Reconciliations Composite submission to ManufacturersAssist Financial Controller with day to day tasks required Assist with external auditor requests as an when requiredPerson Spec:Working in a fast paced motor trade environmentWorking as part of team and supporting team members as they learnExcellent communication ..... full job details .....
