The role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children with additional needs, ensuring high standards of hygiene at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain all areas of the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and communal spacesCarry out routine and deep cleaning tasks in accordance with cleaning schedulesEnsure all surfaces are sanitised to meet health, safety, and infection control standardsSafely use and store cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH guidelinesEmpty bins and dispose of waste appropriatelyReplenish cleaning supplies and report stock shortagesReport any maintenance issues or hazards to managementWork respectfully around children, staff, and visitors, maintaining a calm and professional presenceFollow safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures at all timesPerson SpecificationPrevious cleaning preferred, ideally in a care or residential settingBasic knowledge of hygiene standards and safe use of cleaning productsReliable, punctual, and able to work independentlyGood attention to detailUnderstanding of the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding in a care settingFriendly and approachable with a positive attitudeAdditional ..... full job details .....
