DB2 Mainframe Administrator - Remote

DB2 Mainframe AdministratorWe are looking for an experienced DB2 Mainframe Administrator to support a Large programme, with a key focus on the migration of CA/Broadcom DB2 tooling to IBM.You will be responsible for the administration, configuration and performance of DB2 on z/OS, supporting upgrades, migrations, backup and recovery, DB2 utilities, troubleshooting and production support.Key experience:- Hands-on DB2 on z/OS experience at System Administration/DBA level.- Experience migrating CA/Broadcom DB2 tools to IBM, ideally CA Fast Check, Fast Index, Fast Load or Fast Recover to the IBM DB2 Utilities Suite.- Strong knowledge of DB2 utilities including REORG, RUNSTATS, LOAD, COPY and RECOVER.- Experience with DB2 performance tuning, storage, backup/recovery and capacity management.- Strong z/OS, JCL and SDSF knowledge.- Experience providing L2/L3 support, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.- Familiarity with SPUFI, QMF and DB2 Admin Tool.- Experience working within controlled change, release, security and compliance environments.LA International is an award-winning partner of choice for many of the world''s most influential companies and government organisations.
