Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Monday to Friday – 08:00–16:00 ONLY

No rotating shifts.

No night shifts.
No weekend working.

And to top it off, the site has a Christmas shutdown, so you can enjoy the festive period with your family and friends without worrying about work.

You''ll be joining an established engineering team, working across a variety of production equipment and site services. It''s a hands-on role with plenty of variety, so you''ll never be stuck doing the same thing every day.

You''ll be involved in:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and routine checks.
• Responding to breakdowns and getting equipment back up and running.
• Fault finding across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and control systems.
• Finding the root cause of problems rather than just fixing the immediate issue.
• Helping to keep production equipment safe, reliable and running efficiently.
• Supporting improvement projects and new equipment installations.
• Keeping maintenance records and the CMMS up to date.
• Working closely with the production team to keep things running smoothly.
• Supporting engineering improvements across the site.
• Taking part in the engineering call-out rota when required.

We''re not expecting you to tick every box. If you''re a good all-round Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical skills, we''d like to hear from you.

You''ll ideally have:

• An engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 engineering qualification.
• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing, production or an industrial environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with PPM and breakdown maintenance.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and control systems.
• Experience working safely with isolation and permit-to-work procedures.
• A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to get stuck in and solve problems.

Experience with PLCs, drives, robotics, 18th Edition or within food/regulated manufacturing would be a bonus — but don''t worry if you don''t have everything.
